CDC Building 20 & Underground Fuel Storage Vault

The CDC Building 20 is a 5-story, 120,000 SF, mild steel concrete frame designed with the new federal government non-progressive collapse criteria. With this in mind, the elevated slabs and vertical structural components were massive compared to conventional structures. The perimeter walls were 20" thick reinforced concrete up to the second floor and explosion-proof.

The site hardscape package was extensive and included stone-clad, radiused site retaining walls, bridges and wide concrete walkways all over the site. 2000 Concrete Structures was recognized on numerous occasions for our outstanding safety record and commitment to safety on this project.
