Prospect Park Retail Parking Deck

Prospect Park Retail Parking Deck was a 160,000 SF post-tensioned retail parking deck located in Alpharetta, Georgia.

This project had a very aggressive production schedule of 20,000 SF of elevated structure per week which required 2000 Concrete to furnish over 55,000 SF of elevated formwork material. Elevated slabs was formed using all stick material including box and beam forms for drop beams and skip joists in lieu of pan forms in order to achieve an ACI class "B" formwork finish (As shown above). This level of finish was achieved through sound formwork techniques and good concrete consolidation.

The project was hoisted utilizing two crawler cranes including 200 Ton Luffer and one 100 Ton crawler simultaneously. Concrete was conveyed using 65 meter mobile concrete pumps.
